Memories of You

   My dear aunt sends me a May Day basket of flowers almost every year, and this year I decided to not only look at the flowers and enjoy them but to use them as props!  Thanks Aunt Jean!! :)

Set Up

   The set up I had going on was my Canon EOS 5D Mark II mounted on my tripod barely inside my garage so I wouldn't have to wrap it in socks (it works well, its just a lot of work and a waste of several socks) to keep it from getting wet from the rain.  I used both my Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens & Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.  To make sure I would get my focus right, I put a sticky note on the ground where I would put my head, focused on that, then set to 10 second timer and hurried as fast as I could to get into position.
