From my most recent portrait session with the beautiful Bryley. Both of these shots were taken around 6-6:30pm, which is my favorite time to shoot because of the great lighting and flares, but it is still light enough to see the subject's face.
These were both taken around 7 when the sun was turning golden but it was still high in the sky. *Note; the wider the aperture the better the flare, but the shutter speed plays a key role in flares, also. The one on the right was shot at f/1.8 & 1/3200 of a second. The photograph to the bottom was shot at f/1.8 & 1/5000 of a second.
this is so gorgeous! those flares are amazing! thanks for the setting share
